Classroom Rules
Our classroom is a small community where teamwork and good relationships are expected. We will spend time learning classroom procedures and practicing them. In order to guarantee an excellent educational environment, I expect all students to follow the rules and procedures. This makes it possible for me to teach and for the children to learn.
The following is a list of our classroom rules:
1. Listen and follow directions.
2. Raise your hand to speak.
3. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
4. Be kind to others.
5. Be kind to our school
6. Do your best!

Classroom Clip Chart
I will be utilizing a clip chart to monitor choices in our classroom. The clip chart is divided into 7 colored sections and each day your child will start out on green, in the middle. Good choices will enable them to move up on the clip chart and poor choices will cause your child to move down. Parents you may click HERE or on the link below to view an explanation of the levels on our clip chart.
Good choices mean your child gets to move up! If they make it to the pink section, Outstanding!, your child will get to add a decoration to their clip! Once your child has reached Outstanding 6 times, they will be able to take their clip home and choose a reward from the reward menu. For example, lunch with the teacher, extra computer time, bring a stuffed animal to school, etc. I can't wait to see all of the decorated clips on our clip chart!
If your child moves to the orange level on our clip chart, the teacher will decide on an acceptable consequence for this action. Moving to red, the Parent Contact section, means that you will be contacted and both the parent and teacher will decide an appropriate consequence. _
